10px;\n        }\n    \n\n    <h2>Warranty Terms<\/h2>\n        &lt;\/<p>Except for wooden door and metal gate which comes with 1 year warranty, the other products are warranted for defects in materials and workmanship, including repairs and services within 24 months from the date of installation.<\/p>\n<ol>\n \t<li>The warranty provided by Kaadas Malaysia applies to the manufacturer&#8217;s defects for Products used and purchased within Malaysia.<\/li>\n \t<li>Warranty is applicable for Products distributed through Kaadas Malaysia or dealers who are authorised for the sale of Kaadas Digital locks in Malaysia.<\/li>\n \t<li>Warranty and repair services can only be provided by Kaadas Malaysia technician(s) or dealers authorised by Kaadas Malaysia.<\/li>\n \t<li>All customers must register their Kaadas lock warranty with us on our website within one week of date of installation of locks, prior to making a Warranty claim.<\/li>\n \t<li>On\u00a0a case-by-case basis,\u00a0services\u00a0will be charged even during the warranty period.\u00a0The Warranty\u00a0<strong>DOES NOT\u00a0APPLY<\/strong>\u00a0to the below cases and not limited to:\n<ul>\n \t<li>Any damage not caused by manufacturing faults, cosmetic damage to outer surface\/finishing and\/or external parts of the Product including without limitation, cracks, dents or scratches on the exterior casing;<\/li>\n \t<li>Any deterioration of the Product due to normal wear and tear, including without limitation, rust or stains;<\/li>\n \t<li>Any damage caused by improper transportation, installation and maintenance.<\/li>\n \t<li>Any signs of abuse or misuse of the Product like relentlessly cleaning, scratching and overloading etc.<\/li>\n \t<li>Any misplacement of parts of the Product like the lost of emergency backup keys for digital locks.<\/li>\n \t<li>Products and their components have not been installed as per the security maintenance and operational instructions given by the manufacturer, recommended by Kaadas Malaysia technicians or dealer authorised by Kaadas Malaysia<\/li>\n \t<li>The equipment has been repaired, altered, or dismantled by any other person that is not of Kaadas Malaysia technicians or employees of a dealer authorised by Kaadas Malaysia.<\/li>\n \t<li>Defects caused by voltage\u00a0changes\u00a0abnormally, energy supply\u00a0is not stable and battery leakage.<\/li>\n \t<li>Defects caused by fire and explosions, a bolt of lightning, turbulence power, negligence, accidents and other natural disasters or wrong deviation due to the installation and use is inconsistent with the recommendations.<\/li>\n \t<li>Defects caused by insects such as lizards, mice, cockroaches, etc.<\/li>\n \t<li>Defects caused by a chemical reaction, products being dregs (lime), detergents, \u00a0the temperature is too high, too much dust, and environments with corrosive elements such as cement factories, farms, etc.<\/li>\n \t<li>Components that require replacement during normal use due to wear and tear by the natural characteristic of the product including accessories.<\/li>\n \t<li>Payment not made in full for the product or its accessories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n \t<li>Warranty will not be effective if the equipment is being operated incorrectly as recommended by Kaadas Malaysia, or backup keys are not kept accessible outside the house to be used (i.e. backup keys for wooden door lock to be keep accessible from outside the house at all time or 1 key to be kept inside the house and 1 key to be kept outside the house for metal gate lock).<\/li>\n \t<li>Under this Warranty, Kaadas Malaysia is responsible for repairing or replacing defective products. This warranty coverage will not, under any circumstances, extend to any loss (including financial loss) or injury to a person or loss or damage to property or any incidental, contingent, special or any direct or indirect loss and consequential damages including but not limited to losses incurred due to any delay in rendering service and loss of use while awaiting for replacement parts to arrive.\u00a0<strong>For all Kaadas accessories, including remote, module, RFID tags or RFID stickers, customers are required to bring the accessories to Kaadas Malaysia office for troubleshooting and replacement.<\/strong><\/li>\n \t<li>Kaadas Malaysia reserves the right to impose additional costs or to refuse to take part in the warranty when the product is installed in inaccessible or endangered positions by technicians or employees of Kaadas Malaysia or Kaadas Malaysia authorised dealer.<\/li>\n \t<li>Kaadas Malaysia decision is based on the results of the determination of all causes related to the complaint of defects, damage or damage to the product.<\/li>\n \t<li>Kaadas Malaysia authorised dealers and employees may not modify or extend the terms of this warranty in any manner whatsoever.<\/li>\n \t<li>The purchase or sale will not make a claim under this warranty for personal injury, property damage or consequential damage.<\/li>\n    <li> All recommendations provided by The Smart Series Pte Ltd are based on the information available at the time and are subject to the customer&#8217;s acceptance and approval. The Smart Series Pte Ltd shall not be held liable for any outcomes, damages, or additional costs arising from factors not disclosed or considered during the assessment.<\/li>\n \t<li>During the installation of the new gate, the existing gate will be removed. This process includes the removal of silicone or other bonding materials that were used to secure the previous gate to the existing door frame. Please note that our scope of work does not include making good or restoring the affected areas of the door frame after removal.
